Have kids THEY said. It will be fun THEY said. THEY lied. Now that my children are all adults, they are fiercely protective of each other, mostly. However, it wasn't always that way, as this little ditty will illustrate.
Grady's complaint one morning, a few years ago. His sister throws punches like a girl. Considering he was on the other end of said punch, you would think he'd appreciate Sid's less than stellar technique, but no, he grumbled she didn't hit him hard enough. I have no doubt in my mind that she will rise to the challenge, and in a few days, Grady will be singing a different - and an octave higher - tune.
Sure enough, be careful what you wish for. A few days later, "Here Sid, punch me in the abs" challenges Grady. To give Sid her due, she doesn't ask "What abs ?", she just winds up and delivers a direct hit. Grady is currently retching in the bathroom.
